We believe that children need to leave our school with the core skills and qualities that will equip them well for the next stage in their education as well as in life beyond school. Our aim is that children at Mowlem Primary School will become confident, lifelong learners. We can only do this successfully if we work together and have a positive partnership between home and school.
Our motto is ‘Achieve, Inspire and Flourish’, we welcome you to our website that will tell you more about the school and look forward to meeting and working with you.

Mowlem Primary School is one of the best in the country for pupil progress.
Mowlem Primary School has received national recognition for the value it adds to its pupils' achievements in the key stage 2 tests.
A recent in-depth analysis of official Department for Education data on all state-funded schools in England by SSAT, the national schools’ membership organisation for improvement and collaboration, identified Mowlem Primary School’s success.
The school has qualified for an 'SSAT Educational Outcomes Award' by being in the top 20% of primary schools nationally for progress made by pupils between their key stage 1 tests, taken at age seven, and their key stage 2 tests, taken at age eleven.
The school was invited to receive their award at a regional celebration ceremony hosted by SSAT at the St Marylebone CE School in London on 6th May 2014.
Sue Williamson, Chief Executive of SSAT said:
‘Mowlem Primary School should be congratulated for their exceptional achievement. They have proved themselves to be leading the field in improving outcomes for their pupils. There is so much good practice that this school could share, and I hope many schools will join us at the celebration ceremony for the chance to network and share strategies with award-winning schools.
‘These results are testament to the commitment and hard work of the students, teachers and leadership team at Mowlem Primary School, and show what can be achieved when skilled teachers have high expectations and ambition for every child. I am proud that this school is a member of the SSAT network.’
